Songs for Ken is an annual concert-fundraiser in support of the ALS Society of Alberta. Created by John Wort Hannam, Songs for Ken brings the Alberta folk music community together for two evenings of memories, music and fun.

The 2017 Lloydminster Fire Department ALS Rooftop Campout will take place from Nov. 24 - 26 on the rooftop of the Lloydminster Fire Station #1 (5013 46 Ave).
With a fundraising goal of $30,000, this event is sure to be an uplifting and hopeful experience!
On October 4 - 5, Phi Delta Theta is hosting a 24 hour teeter-totter marathon to raise money and awareness for ALS. Partnered with the ALS Society of Alberta, the brothers of Phi Delta Theta will teeter and totter for 24 hours in main quad.
ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is also referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, after the famous American baseball player who died of ALS in 1941. Lou Gehrig was a member of Phi Delta Theta.
With your support, Phi Delta Theta hopes to better the lives of those afflicted with this disease.
