The 2nd Annual Nancy McLennan Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on June 21, 2018 at the Derrick Golf & Winter Club. Join others to remember Nancy McLennan and celebrate her legacy. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the ALS Society of Alberta.
Coach's Corner Sports Bar will be hosting an event on June 2, 2018 which will include a draw to win a Molson Mini Fridge or a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker. All proceeds for the event will be going towards Danny Getlaf's team for the June 9th Edmonton WALK for ALS.
Join Danny Getzlaf's friends and community for their BBQ at the Morinville Fish & Game Clubhouse. Tickets are $10 and includes a burger and pasta salad. There will also be a Social and Meat Draw to follow. All proceeds will go towards the Edmonton WALK for ALS on June 9th. Hope to see you there!

The Annual General Meeting of Members of the ALS Society of Alberta will be held at the ALS Society of Alberta, at 6:00 p.m. on May 29.
The agenda will include:
Ø Receiving and considering the Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2015.
Ø Electing the Board of Directors.
Ø Appointing an Auditor for the ensuing year.
A copy of the 2015 Financial Statements of the Society’s affairs for the fiscal year ended 31, December 2015, and the Auditor’s report will be available at the meeting.
Please join the Drayton Valley WALK for ALS committee for an evening of fun! Maggie will take you through a beautiful ALS-inspired painting, step-by-step! Proceeds will support the first annual Drayton Valley WALK for ALS. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at Oil Country Taphouse before, during, and after the event. Hope to see you there!
The 2017 Lloydminster Fire Department ALS Rooftop Campout will take place from Nov. 24 - 26 on the rooftop of the Lloydminster Fire Station #1 (5013 46 Ave).
With a fundraising goal of $30,000, this event is sure to be an uplifting and hopeful experience!
On October 4 - 5, Phi Delta Theta is hosting a 24 hour teeter-totter marathon to raise money and awareness for ALS. Partnered with the ALS Society of Alberta, the brothers of Phi Delta Theta will teeter and totter for 24 hours in main quad.
ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is also referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, after the famous American baseball player who died of ALS in 1941. Lou Gehrig was a member of Phi Delta Theta.
With your support, Phi Delta Theta hopes to better the lives of those afflicted with this disease.
