The following are some of the upcoming ALS Society of Alberta volunteer opportunities:

Bettys Run for ALS: Bettys Run committee volunteers are being sought to organize the 16th Annual ALS fundraiser on June 10, 2012 (Calgary).

Walks for ALS: Walk for ALS Coordinators and committee volunteers are being sought for various locations around the province in 2012.

Casino: 2013 in Edmonton and Calgary

Stuffing, sealing and stamping Newsletter envelopes and other mailouts: At a minimum this is done quarterly February, May, August and November (Calgary).

Receipt Verifying: Due to a large influx of incoming individual donations during the month of June, there is a need for volunteers during June, July, and August to come in to the Calgary office to check the accuracy of tax receipts and prepare them for mailing (Calgary).

Information Booth Hosts: The ALS Society of Alberta is often invited to set up and information booth at various functions across Alberta and volunteers are often needed to represent the Society at these booths.

Other volunteer opportunities arise throughout the year and we are always happy to hear about new and innovative ways to raise funds and awareness.
