SUMMARY:Campout for a Cause
DESCRIPTION:ALS affects thousands of people across Canada each year\, and its impact reaches far beyond the individual\, touching families\, workplaces\, and entire communities. \n\n\n\nOur fire department is coming together to host this fundraiser in support of one of our own who was recently diagnosed with ALS. As a team built on service\, solidarity\, and community\, we stand beside our colleague and their family as they face the challenges of this progressive neurodegenerative disease.  \n\n\n\nThis event is about more than raising money—it’s about raising awareness\, hope\, and support. As firefighters\, we are committed to protecting and uplifting the people around us. Today\, that commitment extends to one of our own—and to everyone living with ALS. DESCRIPTION:ALS caregiver coffee and conversation inspired by All There Is – Creating a Companionship with Grief. \n\n\n\nPodcast: All There Is – Creating a Companionship with Grief. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for the October ALS Caregiver Coffee gathering.  \n\n\n\nFor this session\, we will listen to and discuss Anderson Cooper’s podcast: All There Is – Creating a Companionship with Grief. \n\n\n\nThese gatherings are a space for ALS caregivers to connect\, reflect\, and talk openly with others who understand the caregiving journey. \n\n\n\nYou are welcome whether you have listened to the episode or not. The goal is conversation\, connection\, and community. \n\n\n\nThis session is offered at two times:  \n\n\n\n\nMorning: 9:00 – 11:00 AM\, Atco Cafe. \n\n\n\nEvening: 7:00 – 9:00 PM\, Alforno Eau Claire. \n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration is required for each session. Please note that the registration platform may display a payment information screen\, but payment is not required. You will receive an email confirmation once your registration is complete.

DESCRIPTION:We’re kicking for hope\, again! \n\n\n\nEarlier this year\, our community came together for the first Kicks of Hope event and showed us just how much we can accomplish when we put our strength behind a cause. \n\n\n\nNow\, for the second time this year\, we’re stepping onto the mat to stand with the ALS community in Alberta. \n\n\n\nCome join us for another day of taekwondo\, community\, and advocacy as we turn every kick into a step toward a future without ALS. \n\n\n\nTogether\, we can make a difference. \n\n\n\n\nRegister Here!\n\n\n\nPay Registration Fee and/or Donate Here \n\n\n\n\nRegistration & Tax Receipts \n\n\n\nPlease note that he $20 registration fee is a participation fee and is not eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
