ALS affects thousands of people across Canada each year, and its impact reaches far beyond the individual, touching families, workplaces, and entire communities.
Our fire department is coming together to host this fundraiser in support of one of our own who was recently diagnosed with ALS. As a team built on service, solidarity, and community, we stand beside our colleague and their family as they face the challenges of this progressive neurodegenerative disease.
This event is about more than raising money—it’s about raising awareness, hope, and support. As firefighters, we are committed to protecting and uplifting the people around us. Today, that commitment extends to one of our own—and to everyone living with ALS. Your participation helps fuel research, compassion, and hope.
