Advancing ALS Research in Alberta
Research is one of the most important ways we move forward in the fight against ALS. Every study, clinical trial, and research partnership helps us better understand the disease, improve care for those living with ALS today, and move closer to effective treatments and, one day, a cure.
Through the Alberta ALS Research Network (AARN), researchers, clinicians, and partners from across the province are working together to advance ALS research in meaningful and collaborative ways.
This Research Blog will be a place where we share:
- Updates from ALS research projects happening in Alberta
- Highlights from researchers and clinicians involved in ALS work in Alberta
- Stories that show the real-world impact of research
- Opportunities to participate in research studies
- Plain-language explanations of new ALS research and discoveries
Our goal is to make ALS research more accessible, understandable, and connected to the ALS community across Alberta.
We believe research should be shared with the community it serves.
Stay tuned for upcoming posts featuring research updates, researcher spotlights, and stories from across the Alberta ALS Research Network.
Together, through research, collaboration, and community, we continue moving forward.
